About Changemaker Mercy Anyona

Mercy Anyona conducts workshops and awareness raising campaigns on prevention of Jigger infestation among children which is a common and dangerous health issue in rural areas of Kenya. With the help of collaboration with 22 medical volunteers Mercy was able to offer treatment to 10 children in 8 infected families and raise awareness on prevention of Jigger infestation among hundreds of people in her community. Within her Fund Catcher project, she will increase the size of her project, helping even more people in rural Kenya!
