About Changemaker Fatima Danishyar

Living in a polluted part of Kabul, Fatima saw that pollution was not only a problem in her neighborhood but was also an urgent global problem linked to climate change. She saw how this problem has affected her community, especially children. This is because it deprives children of education, as they get sick from the pollution. This inspired Fatima to start a project which raises awareness about climate change and its effects on children's life. She hopes to educate people in her community and motivate the youth to take action against climate change. Her project, called GreenEarth march, is aimed to raise awareness about climate change, call youths to join and take action, and plant trees to decrease pollution. She hopes to inspire at least 100 people through her campaigns!
