About Changemaker Diego Armando Ricaurte Mendoza

Diego noted that the quality of education in his area is low. This is due to the lack of educational coverage, the paucity of public schools, the poor infrastructure of schools and universities and the various forms of violence to which young people are exposed. As a result, only a very limited number of young people have the opportunity to pursue secondary education. Diego wants to minimize this problem by conducting workshops. Within these workshops, he wants to debate, educate and raise awareness among children. In doing so, he will focus on issues related to environmental legislation, respect and prevention of gender-related violence. With this, he wants to counter violence, create a culture of peace and achieve respect for the environment. This wonderful project will definitely benefit the well-being of children in Diego's area!
