About Changemaker Dekegai

The issue in Dekegai's community is that individuals are not properly held accountable for sexual abuse directed towards girls and the situation has been getting worse during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, when it comes to gender-based violence, girls are not motivated to seek justice. In order to help solve this issue Dekegai wants to conduct an online awareness campaign in which children will be taught how to protect themselves against rape and other forms of violence and understand how the referral process works.
