About Changemaker Camila Baca

Camila believes that one of the main issues in Peru is the lack of support for young students to pursue their academic goals. Unfortunately, thousands of young brilliant children are forced to stop their academic journey because of the lack of resources. There are plenty or organizations who are dedicated to provide help to these people, however, these opportunities do not have enough visibility to reach their target audience. Therfore, Camila would like to host a series of online and in-person workshops for high school students to learn more about how to apply to colleges in Peru and abroad, tips on finding a career that they passionate about and choosing a major, inform them about multiple resources such as scholarships and helpful organizations and learn more about mental health in college. She hopes to help 70 children in her community!
