Summary

A challenge in which anyone can participate by taking a health pledge(write in story or make video in story) and tagging stateofyouth_ludhiana(insta).

Detailed description

As per WHO, an estimated 2.6 million young people aged between 10 and 24 die each year and a much greater number of young people suffer from illnesses ‘behaviours’ which hinder their ability to grow and develop to their full potential. Nearly two-thirds of premature deaths and one-third of the total disease burden in adults is associated with conditions or behaviours initiated in their youth (e.g. tobacco use, physical inactivity and many more). So, let's start this new year on a positive note by spreading the message of good health among the youth. Let us take a step towards good health together!

Here is how you can complete the HEALTH PLEDGE CHALLENGE:

1) Choose a realistic health pledge for yourself, the one you feel you can stick to. It could be about starting a healthy habit or giving up a bad habit. As long as it is healthy for you, it is a 'HEALTH PLEDGE'.

2) Type it in your story or upload a video of yourself taking the pledge in your story and nominate at least two friends to do the same.

3) Tag stateofyouth_ludhiana on instagarm. We would love to feature your pledges in our story.

Let's start this chain of making youth and the community healthy!

The activity will start on 31st and will go on for a week.
