Detailed description

Children with special needs experience difficulties in learning, growth and development in other extracurricular activities. In order to help break the stigma surrounding children with special needs and give their cause the necessary attention, Stella organises an awareness-raising and awareness-raising programme with her plan. With the help of trained volunteers from the community, she creates awareness among parents and other fellow students. They have also prepared and developed a training manual that can be used during awareness raising. In addition, they organise awareness-raising forums on various platforms, including churches and learning institutions for children with special needs with other partners. Its main aim is to raise awareness in the community of the importance of treating children with special needs well, and of the risks of poor treatment by caregivers and to discourage the wrong ideas around them.
