Eradicating Harmful Cultural Practice That Hinder the Girl Child from Attaining Education

Mwandja Mmbandoci has successfully finished his Action Developers project, addressing the issue of insufficient hygiene within schools and now wants to pursue his project on a larger scale. He has identified that over the past ten years, this topic in schools has been largely disregarded, causing water shortages and infrastructure problems leading to inadequate WASH facilities. Under these conditions, schools become unsafe places where diseases are transmitted. To solve the problem, he will visit schools in his area, to educate children in his community about the importance of health and hygiene and to teach them some basic life skills. In addition, he will develop a plan to improve facilities in schools. A wonderful project, contributing to the realization of children's right to have the best possible health.
